Sink Buying Explained

When looking for new kitchen sinks there are a variety of options and sizes which can often leave potential buyer confused. Below are examples of all the most common sinks, 


Types of sinks:


1. Farmhouse Sinks : These sinks require a foundation built within the cabinets in order to be safely secured in place. They are usually bigger than other sinks and have a long lifespan.


2. Under mount sinks : Sinks attached underneath the countertop which are also in high demand due to their smooth and appealing look.


3. Top mount sinks : Usually less expensive than undermount sinks and longer life span since the sink is laying on top of the countertop.


4. Dual mount sinks :  Versatile fixture that can be installed either as a drop-in sink or an undermount sink, providing flexibility in design.


Sinks Features:


Round Corners - More affordable and Easier to clean


Square Corners - More modern, More expensive and sometimes it requires more effort to maintain.


Sink Accessories:


Sinks that are usually called workstations have the options for multiple different accessories which are fitted onto front and back ledges, they act as a track for sliding accessories on the sink for example: Cutting Board, Fold Rack, Stainless Steel Colander and many more.
